We’re in the midst of a technological shift.
We expect our digital and physical worlds to align seamlessly, and we demand the same of the products and services we use too.
NEEEU is the handshake in the middle. We bring digital and physical realities together, along with a deep understanding of how upcoming technologies can be used to address people’s needs and desires.
We teamed up with the Mediasphere for Nature team to deliver a unique augmented reality museum experiment at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin during Lange Nacht der Museen.
The museum hosts an enormous collection of bird species which, with the help of our custom built AR mobile app, we managed to bring to life.
If today’s museum visitor expects to learn while also having fun at the same time, what role, if any, can Augmented Reality have in providing this experience? We tried to find out, with a focus on surprise, play & education.
Massive thanks to filmmaker Jana Koelmel for documenting the night, and a huge congratulations to designer/maker Insiya Jafferjee for making those birds sing!
