We’re in the midst of a technological shift.
We expect our digital and physical worlds to align seamlessly, and we demand the same of the products and services we use too.
NEEEU is the handshake in the middle. We bring digital and physical realities together, along with a deep understanding of how upcoming technologies can be used to address people’s needs and desires.
The challenge: how can mixed reality technology improve the visitor experience in a museum without becoming the center of attention?
What if you could reconstruct the long-lost panels of a 16th century triptych, or give people x-ray vision to uncover the hidden layers of a painting?
We had a hypothesis that new technologies like augmented reality could make museums more welcoming, accessible and exciting to all kinds of audiences. But how to turn this idea into reality and test it in an actual space?
NEEEU worked with Gemäldegalerie and Museum4punkt0 to bring the gallery experience to life, paving the way for technology to be implemented in the gallery at different levels – from collaboration with curators to the visitor experience.
